Welcome to MonoPump. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you about how we look after your personal data when you use our application and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

Information We Collect

1. Health Data

MonoPump collects and processes the following health data:

• Heart rate measurements
• Measurement timestamps
• Measurement context and quality metadata
• User profile information (name, age, gender if provided)

All health data is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, store, or transmit this data to any external servers.

2. Camera Usage

The app uses your device's camera solely for the purpose of measuring heart rate. Camera access is requested only when you initiate a measurement, and no video or images are stored or transmitted.

3. Optional Feedback

When you choose to submit feedback in the app, the following fields are sent to Monoware Support:

• Feedback type, title, and description
• Your email address
• The MonoPump app version and build number

No measurement data, profile data, or device identifier is included in the feedback request.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the purpose of providing the app's functionality:

• To measure and display your heart rate
• To store and display your measurement history
• To calculate descriptive summaries and trends from your saved measurements
• To export your data when you request it
• To support multiple user profiles

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using standard iOS data storage mechanisms. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features.

No Health Data Cloud Storage

We do not operate cloud storage for your measurements or profiles. This data leaves your device only when you explicitly export and share it. Optional feedback is submitted separately through Monoware Support and never includes your health data.

Data Export

When you export data (PDF, Excel, HTML files):

• Files are generated locally on your device
• You control how and where to share these files
• We do not have access to exported files

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not:

• Sell your personal data
• Send your measurements or profiles to third parties
• Use your data for advertising purposes
• Use a device identifier in feedback submissions

Data is shared only when you export a file yourself or intentionally submit feedback. Feedback is processed by the Monoware Support service.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all your data stored in the app
• Export your data in multiple formats
• Delete individual measurements or all your data
• Delete user profiles
• Choose not to submit feedback

All these actions can be performed directly within the app.

Children's Privacy

MonoPump does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app can be used by all ages, but we recommend that minors use the app under adult supervision.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you through an update to the app or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new privacy policy.
